Follow The Elgar Route – a 40-mile circular drive through Worcester and Great Malvern, taking in the places that shaped the composer's life and music.

Edward Elgar was born just outside Worcester and composed some of his greatest music while walking these very hills. The signed Elgar Route is a roughly 40-mile circular drive linking the places of his life: his birthplace, the spots where he taught and performed, and the churchyard at Little Malvern where he and his wife are buried. For anyone who loves his music, or simply a beautiful drive, it is a memorable day out from the door.
