1919 Bar

Relax in eclectic and colourful settings in the bar & lounge. Deep blue bookcases and Georgian green walls are the backdrop for old photographs of the local area and a modern painting of the traditional Malvern gas lamp.

Allow the bartender to serve a delightful cocktail and share secrets of mixology, order the house champagne Pol Roger, choose a fine wine from the extensive list or select a local ale.

Afternoon Tea

There is no better place to indulge in this quintessentially English pastime than on the terrace or in 1919 Restaurant at The Cottage in the Wood, affording beautiful views of the Cotswolds and the Severn Valley.

Delicate sandwiches, freshly-baked scones with clotted cream & jam, exquisite homemade pastries and decadent cakes are served on a three-tier stand with silverware. Add sparkle to the occasion with a glass of ‘Reserve’ Brut Pol Roger.

On Father’s Day, try the Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea with pork & stilton sausage rolls, black pudding Scotch egg, steak tartar Yorkshire pudding & horseradish and chocolate & ale cake to boot, served with beer from local Malvern Brewery Friday Beer.
